About me

I grew up in a creative home. My mother was a fashion designer, my father a graphic designer and art director, and both interior designers together.

Aesthetics and design aspects have therefore always had a very high priority in my environment.

Surrounded by the latest magazines and books on art, architecture, fashion, film, graphics and photography, my eye was constantly trained.

Likewise, regular visits to exhibitions and museums shaped my optical and artistic education.

An annual photo exhibition in France, the Recontres d'Arles, has a special significance for me, as it shows the diversity and far-reaching possibilities of photographic modes of representation.

In addition, film has also taken a liking to me. From childhood on I loved to watch old American, English or French films. Through this preoccupation with film, I learned to think in terms of images as well as color compositions.
